8 Cyberpunk Fixers

A Fixer is a middleman who provides Jobs to Runners from anonymous clients in exchange for a cut of the Job’s reward.
A Fixer has two primary roles.
- Compartmentalize Information: The client doesn’t know their Runners; the Runner doesn’t know their client. Runners can’t give up their client if they get caught. Clients can’t act against Runners that perform against their specifications. Clients and Runners who hate each other can work profitably together without knowing it.
- Find the Right Crew for the Job Fixers know all the major crews and their areas of expertise and even know a few specialist contractors. A good Fixer doesn’t just find a Runner for a client, they find the right Runner with the highest chance of success for the client’s budget.
Fixers place open work on secret networks or message specific crews with Job opportunities. When Runners accept a Job from a Fixer, the Fixer will set a meeting point where they’ll provide details on the Job per the client's instructions.
Some clients don't work with Fixers, preferring to engage directly with the Runners they hire.
