Ancestries
Ancestries represent any unique traits gained from a character's heritage. A character chooses one during character creation.
Human
Humans are the most common race in the Hallowed Realm. They are known for their industriousness and their ability to pick up a wide variety of talents. Most of all, they are known for being extremely populous.
Starting Item
A keepsake from your hometown (decide what it is)
Versatile
Increase your two lowest stats by 1, to a cap of 18.
Ratling
Hardy, quick-footed, and cunning, Ratling frequently leave their clans in the south to chase opportunity in the Hallowed Realm. They are best known for their fine craftsmanship and tough as nails mercenaries.
Starting item
Choose either a Tanto (hand weapon) or a Katana (field weapon). It was personally made for you (Decide what looks unique about it)
Ratling Features
You have sharp claws that can be used as a weapon (1d6). You have a tail that provides -1 to any agility check related to balance, it can hold non bulky items and wield any weapon you could wield with one hand.
You have thick grey, black, white, or brown fur that helps you blend into similarly colored environments.
Mothling
Originally hailing from the desserts of the southern empire, many mothlings came north into the Hallowed Realm for lucrative jobs building the Grand Rail that runs across the realm. They are known for being hard workers and have built strong mothling communities in the Hallowed Realm.

A good luck charm from a friend or parent (Decide what it is)
Flight
You can fly as long as you are holding no items and wear only light clothing. If you are damaged while flying, you must make an Agility check to avoid falling.
