Hex: Ogama Lair
Terrain: Swamp
Encounter Rate: 2 in 6
A 10-foot-tall toad called an Ogama lives in this swamp. He is capable of transforming into a human at will, at any given time there is a 3 in 6 chance the Ogama is in its human form.

Human Form
In its human form, the Ogama takes the appearance of an elderly man. He can speak, and goes by Fuugo. He has a small, dilapidated house that he sleeps in when the weather is harsh.
Mannerisms Fuugo talks very slowly, and makes a croaking noise every couple seconds, which he explains away by saying his body just ain't what it used to be. Claims to have never seen or heard of a big toad in the area.
Wants Largely to be left alone, or to receive snacks. He doesn't mind the occasional human visitor; the small ones make particularly good snacks.
Knowledge Fuugo is over 1,000 years old and will part with information in exchange for a jar full of snacks. He will accept any insect or rodent. He doesn't remember everything, but he does know that humans lived here before the mist covered the island and even did trade with the mainland. He does not know what caused the mist to surround the island.
The home
Fuugo's home (more like a shack) is one room
- A huge sign sits outside that reads "keep out". Close observation reveals the sign is actually a massive spear, which Fuugo can use in toad form.
- just big enough for 6 people to fit into.
- shelves are lined with slimy, mostly empty jars
- Three jars are filled with worms, crickets, and mice respectively
- A single bedroll that looks like it doesn't see a lot of use is in the corner.
Toad Form
Fuugo spends most of his time in toad form napping.
- While asleep he is visually indistinguishable from a boulder
- slimy and soft to the touch
- Always has his signpost spear nearby wherever he is sleeping
- Cranky when he gets up and will chase off intruders
- If he feels threatened he will attack. Prefers to leave enemies unconcious as he can, because he prefers to cook humans live
