Sword Stances
You are familiar with a variety of stances you can utilize while wielding a melee weapon. At the start of your turn, you can choose a stance to enter. You remain in that stance until you enter another one.

Waki-no-kamae
You take a low stance, with bent legs, ready to counterattack with quick footwork.

While in this stance, any attacks you make are Impaired. If an enemy attacks you with a melee Attack while you are in this stance, subtract 1 from the damage you take (minimum 1). You may then make an Attack against that enemy.

Jodan-no-Kamae

You hold your weapon high, the tip angled backwards, ready for a decisive downward strike.

While in this stance, attacks you make are Boosted. Any Attack made against you in this stance deals 1 more damage.

Hassa-no-Kamae

You stand tall, holding your sword close and pointing skyward, ready for a quick strike in any direction.

While in this stance, you can hit two targets with a single Attack Action, so long as both are in Close Range. Any Attack you make in this stance is Impaired.

Nukitsuke

You draw your weapon with blinding speed. So long as you are not Surprised, the first time you Attack during this combat with a melee weapon deals +1 damage per Bushi Template that you have.

Wanderer

You are used to making do with less. When you rest, there is a 3 in 6 chance you benefit from the rest without spending a ration.

Dancing Dragon

You can wield 2-handed weapons as though they were 1-handed.

Iaijutsu Master

Nukitsuke adds +2 damage per Bushi Template you have instead of +1.
